Who We Are

Data for Decisions in Nutrition (DataDENT) is implemented by three core partner institutions: the Institute for International Programs at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), and Results for Development Institute (R4D).

Since 2017, we have worked within and across several countries including Nigeria, Ethiopia, Burkina Faso and India as well as at regional level in West Africa and South Asia. Currently, the Nigeria Health and Agriculture Initiative is a key implementing partner in Nigeria and we work through the Partnerships and Opportunities to Strengthen and Harmonize Actions for Nutrition (POSHAN) initiative in India.

In 2020, DataDENT partnered with other global stakeholders to launch the Data for Nutrition Community of Practice.  Learn more about the CoP here.

DataDENT actively collaborates with other data-focused initiatives and institutions at national, regional, and global levels. DataDENT is funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
